The geomakers are an amazing addition to our collection from Rhimamory.
There’s nothing as good as hands on fun and that’s exactly what it provides- unlimited play while learning all about shapes. I love that the boys can build whatever shapes they decide to and can then figure out how many sides, faces, straight lines, vertices etc make each shape up. This is not cramming “a square has 4 sides all equal” – this is observing and investigating the shape and figuring out all the properties on their own which is equal to lifelong knowledge!
It’s also good for imaginative play- my boys can be at it for a good 30 minutes building all sorts of “strange” shapes.
An engaging “toy” that deepens knowledge, allows for imaginative independent play at a good price point- what’s not to love!
