Or you can take advantage of these 5 quick tips to help you get the perfect present!

1.Age of the child

This is always a good place to start! Go to the section of the store, ask the staff instore or use the website finder to get all the toys for that age range. This helps reduce the amount of toys you need to choose from.

2. Interests:

A child who likes building stuff will love construction toys! A Paw Patrol fan would be so excited to see a Paw Patrol themed gift. Lean towards something you know your little one will like. You can also consider introducing them to new interests. Do you know how many geniuses have been born out of a child trying something new for the first time and falling in love with it? So do not limit your gifts to getting the same old thing. Experiment a little!

Not sure where their interests lie? Get a gift card. We can help with that. Just call 07064992408 or send us an email (info@demo.mactavis.com) to get started! This way – they can pick EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT. No error or disappointment.

You can also ask if they have a gift registry set up. This enables you select something that they already want. No mistakes; no duplication of gifts and everyone is happy. Again. we can help with that. To set one up, visit https://rhimamory.com/giftregistry/ .

3. The “Is It Worth It” Test:

You’ve got to ask yourself some tough questions at this point – to avoid tears – yours and your child’s!!! Is the toy all shine and no substance? Is it of good quality? Are the manufacturers a renowned and reputable brand? Is the toy beneficial in any way?

4. Budget:

Just because it is expensive does not mean it is the best. Fix your budget and look for toys within that range that won’t break your bank account. It is okay to splurge (it is Christmas after all!) but just make sure you are getting the right quality for the amount you are spending.

It goes the other way too. Just because it is cheap does not mean you should automatically buy it. This wastes money.

So how can I do this? Look out for toys from well known brands and find the product that matches your budget. Don’t be scared to spend a bit more when you find the right toy.

5. Pick Engaging Toys:

Pick toys that actually make your child do something. Where a toy does all the work e.g plays music randomly while your child just watches, chances are that after being entertained for a while, your child will just move on from it. Money wasted. Look for open ended toys – toys that your children will play with in various ways.

6. Ignore all this and just call us!

We will help you pick, wrap and deliver to your little one. Zero stress!

Happy Shopping!
